Do I have to Join the Local Realtor Associaton?
Yes, you must become a member of the Local Realtor Association. You cannot legally practice Real Estate, until you have joined the local association. This will also give you access to the MLS, which is where you manage and post your Listings to the broader market and all the affiliate sites.
What is the Process of Joining a Brokerage?
1. Pass the exam and get your License.
2. On confirming that you want to join us, you will receive an on-boarding pack, which will contain a joining form, as well as some marketing and other materials.
3. On receipt of the form back, you will immediately be added to our Brokerage, and we will Activate your License.
4. You will then immediately get access to your Personal Website, The Boldtrail Platform and your Business Cards will be ordered (They take a few days).
5. From there you will join the MLS. You cannot join the MLS without your License being activated by your chosen Brokerage.
6. You are now fully Licensed and allowed to operate as an Agent !
Do I Have to Work in a Particular Area ?
No. You are able to work anywhere in Florida once you pass your Exam and join us. This is why we have put so much effort into creating a true cloud based system, that can be accessed and efficiently operated from anywhere in Florida.
What Happens if it Takes a Long time for my first Deal?
Well that is why our Philosophy is so important. We understand, that especially for new Agents, it can take time to get established and to make your first commission. Even for some experienced Realtors, there can be long dry patches between commission checks. That’s why with us, you will never pay us anything, unless you have closed deal. Even if it takes a year. And you will never pay us more than 10% of any commission until you have reached the $5k, from where on it will all be free for the rest of the calendar year. This Brokerage has been designed for You.
How Will Training and Mentoring Work ?
Training and mentoring will be a mixture of one-on-one meetings and training sessions, as well as zoom collaborations and online tutorials. Not all Realtors have the same requirements, so we provide a variety of options for all levels. From beginners to experienced Realtors who just want to top up their knowledge or stay current with all the latest laws and regulations.
Can I Join and Operate Under my Own Team or Brand ?
Yes, you are welcome to just use our market leading back end technology and support, while still operating under your own brand. There are certain legal requirements though that will need to be adhered to with disclosing the Brokerage on signage and marketing, but all of that is pretty standard in the current market.
